Billionaire business magnate Elon Musk called out the "woke mind virus" as a "civilizational threat."

Musk, the owner of X, has endured much criticism from the Left since his take over of the social media platform formerly known as Twitter and discussed his feelings toward his venture into the political realm on a Thursday edition of the Lex Fridman Podcast.

"Is there part of you that regrets that?" Fridman asked Musk.

"If you consider fighting the woke mind virus, which I consider to be a civilizational threat, to be political, then yes," he said.

While he may feel a sense of regret, his beliefs on why he has ventured into the political battlefield remain steadfast, according to Musk.

"I'm generally against things that are anti-meritocratic or where there's an attempt to suppress discussion, where even discussing a topic is not allowed," he told Fridman.

"The woke mind virus is communism rebranded," he added.
