NextImg:Dylan Mulvaney says it would be 'epic' to do a Super Bowl beer commercial 'in like 10 years'

Trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney revealed some plans and goals the influencer wants to achieve in the future, with one of them being to appear in a Super Bowl commercial.

The type of Super Bowl commercial Mulvaney, a biological man who identifies as a woman, wants to appear in is one advertising beer, which comes after the influencer received major pushback over a partnership earlier this year with Bud Light. Other goals the influencer has is one day to meet Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and first lady Jill Biden.

"Maybe it’d be epic if in like 10 years I got to do a beer commercial for a Super Bowl,” Mulvaney said in an interview.

The partnership Bud Light announced earlier this year caused Anheuser-Busch, which owns the beer brand, to undergo financial losses, with the company's revenue going down by almost $400 million last year. Many have claimed that the beer brand's lost revenue stems from a boycott that conservatives called for after the partnership.

Earlier this year, Mulvaney criticized Anheuser-Busch for not reaching out in the wake of the backlash caused by their partnership. Mulvaney was also "scared to leave my house" in the wake of the pushback.

In August, Anheuser-Busch announced it was selling off eight of its labels to Tilray Brands, a cannabis company based in New York City. The eight labels the company will purchase include Shock Top, Breckenridge Brewery, Blue Point Brewing Company, 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Redhook Brewery, Widmer Brothers Brewing, Square Mile Cider Company, and HiBall Energy.

Anheuser-Busch heir Billy Busch stated last month he would be the first to buy back Bud Light should the beer’s parent company ever sell it. Busch argued it was disheartening to watch the beer brand, which was a part of his childhood, lose its legacy of valuing its customers and employees.
