Actor John Schneider, best known for playing Bo Duke on the Dukes of Hazzard, accused President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden of treason in a since-deleted post.
Schneider took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday to respond to a Wednesday post from the president on his personal account. Joe Biden called former President Donald Trump a threat to the country's democracy.
OATH OF OFFICE: BIDEN RAN ON FIXING THE IMMIGRATION SYSTEM, BUT BORDER CRISIS BURGEONS
"Trump poses many threats to our country: The right to choose, civil rights, voting rights, and America's standing in the world. But the greatest threat he poses is to our democracy," the president wrote. "If we lose that, we lose everything."

But the greatest threat he poses is to our democracy.
If we lose that, we lose everything.
"Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung. Your son too. Your response is…?" Schneider wrote.
Schneider's original post is no longer live on X, but it is unclear if he deleted it or if the platform did. According to X's policy, users "may not threaten to inflict physical harm on others, which includes (but is not limited to) threatening to kill, torture, sexually assault, or otherwise hurt someone."
"You may not wish, hope, or express desire for harm. This includes (but is not limited to) hoping for others to die, suffer illnesses, tragic incidents, or experience other physically harmful consequences," according to the policy.
