Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO) announced that he’s retiring from Congress at the end of his term, marking the third jolt to Republican-held Colorado seats.

The Colorado Republican, who has been in office since 2007, announced he would be retiring on a local radio show on Friday.

“I’m not getting any younger,” Lamborn said on the show.

This now marks 44 members of Congress either having announced their plans to leave or have already left this Congress.

It also puts three seats held by a Republican up for grabs in Colorado. Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) is retiring at the end of this Congress, and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) left her district due to her being in a tough race to run in Buck’s seat, which is in a safely Republican area.

Lamborn’s seat is also a safe Republican seat.

“I thank the good people of El Paso County for the amazing and wonderful opportunity to serve in the nation’s capital as a representative,” he said.
