Former President Donald Trump has announced he will surrender to law enforcement in Fulton County, Georgia at 7:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday.
Trump said his "arrest time" will be this evening in a post on Truth Social where he claims he was "arrested by a Radical Left, Lowlife District Attorney, Fani Willis" and doubled down on his claims that the 2020 election in Georgia was "rigged and stolen."

"231,000,000 Views, and still counting. The Biggest Video on Social Media, EVER, more than double the Super Bowl! But please excuse me, I have to start getting ready to head down to Atlanta, Georgia, where Murder and other Violent Crimes have reached levels never seen before, to get ARRESTED by a Radical Left, Lowlife District Attorney, Fani Willis, for A PERFECT PHONE CALL, and having the audacity to challenge a RIGGED & STOLEN ELECTION. THE EVIDENCE IS IRREFUTABLE! ARREST TIME: 7:30 P.M." Trump posted on Truth Social.
Trump is expected to be fingerprinted and have a mug shot taken at the Fulton County Jail, with Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat saying earlier this month that if Trump were indicted, he would be subject to "normal practices" that other indicted people undergo in the county.

The former president will not be arraigned on Thursday, meaning he will have to return to Fulton County for his arraignment on the racketeering charges at some point in the future. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has proposed in her scheduling order that Trump and other defendants be arraigned the week of Sept. 5, but no timetable has been confirmed.
Trump was indicted on racketeering charges along with 18 other co-defendants as part of a sweeping indictment for his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election in the Georgia. Several other co-defendants including former lawyers for the former president Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, and Sidney Powell, have had their mug shots taken and were subsequently released.
