Fox News host Mark Levin blasted the judge assigned to the third indictment of former President Donald Trump as a "radical partisan" days after Trump pleaded not guilty to federal conspiracy charges, among others.

On Sunday, Levin said on Life, Liberty, and Levin that the indictment is a "disgusting attack" on democracy and hinted that Judge Tanya Chutkan — who has presided over several cases stemming from the Jan. 6, 2021, riot — will not give the former president a fair trial.

TRUMP'S TRIFECTA: THREE THINGS FORMER PRESIDENT IS COUNTING ON TO AVOID HISTORIC CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS

"The judge who is going to hear this case is the most radical partisan activist, Obama appointee, in the entire federal judiciary. Gee, I wonder how she got chosen," Levin said.

Chutkan was appointed by President Barack Obama in 2014, a fact many Republicans have spoken about since she was assigned to Trump's case. On Aug. 1, special counsel Jack Smith delivered four counts related to alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election that led to the U.S. Capitol riot. Trump appeared before a different judge last week to plead not guilty.

Records show that Chutkan donated roughly $4,300 to Obama's presidential campaign and victory fund between 2008 and 2012, long before she was appointed as a U.S. district court judge in Washington. She is also known for delivering some of the lengthiest sentences to Jan. 6 defendants, much longer than recommended by prosecutors.

She also has condemned fellow GOP-appointed judges for their comparisons of the Jan. 6 riot to the Black Lives Matter protests.

The former president's 2024 campaign blasted the recent indictment, comparing the latest charges to Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union and alleging the Department of Justice has been "weaponized."

Levin blasted the charges that stemmed from Trump's conversations with former Vice President Mike Pence, in which the former president wanted Pence to stall or suspend certifying the 2020 election results.

"This is a disgusting attack on our electoral system. And as I've said before, the electoral system in America is now dead unless all of this is reversed," Levin said. "Is a president not free to discuss decisions about elections with his vice president and strongly urge him to take one position or another?"
