Trump's motorcade traveled on the highway, causing some lanes of traffic in Miami to grind to a halt early Tuesday afternoon.
While in the car, Trump could be seen waving to supporters. While in the motorcade, Trump posted to Truth Social, saying he was en route to the courthouse.
The former president exited the car in an underground parking garage and entered the courthouse, where no photography or video will be permitted, either in the courtroom or in the building itself.
"ON MY WAY TO COURTHOUSE. WITCH HUNT!!! MAGA," Trump posted.
Trump will be fingerprinted but will not have a mugshot taken. Authorities will use an existing photo of Trump instead of taking a new photo at the courthouse.
The former president is scheduled to speak from his New Jersey golf club at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday after his arraignment.
Trump is currently the front-runner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, per polling data.
