Former President Donald Trump celebrated the firing of CNN host Don Lemon on Monday, but he stayed silent on the axing of Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Trump dunked on Lemon's firing, dubbing him the "dumbest man on television" in a Truth Social post on Monday.

DON LEMON FIRED: CNN STAR'S JOURNEY FROM PRIME TIME TO DEPARTURE

"Good News: 'The dumbest man on television,' Don Lemon, has finally been fired from Fake News CNN. My only question is, WHAT TOOK THEM SO LONG?" Trump posted.

Trump previously mocked Lemon when he was moved from his prime-time show, Don Lemon Tonight, to the mornings. He said Lemon was being moved to the "'Death Valley' morning show" and predicted he would eventually be fired.

"A small step for television, a giant step for mankind. Don Lemon, often called 'the dumbest man on television' having made even Lebron James look smart during their interview two years ago, has been FIRED from his prime time evening spot on CNN — extremely low ratings — and will be thrown into their 'Death Valley' morning show. I assume this means a BIG salary cut prior to his Complete & Total future firing from Ratings Challenged (to put it mildly!) CNN. Good luck Don, you’ll need it! MAGA!!!" Trump said in September.

Lemon's tenure as co-anchor of CNN This Morning, alongside Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins, lasted under six months and was filled with controversy.

Trump has not commented on Carlson's departure from Fox News. His most recent comment on Carlson came on his Truth Social account in the form of an article he shared Sunday. In it, Carlson praised Trump's understanding of world affairs.

The former president appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight earlier this month for an interview.

Fox News announced Carlson's departure earlier Monday, saying they had agreed to part ways and that the 8 p.m. time slot would be replaced by a temporary rotating group of hosts.
