


Hollywood legend Dick Van Dyke was nominated Friday for a Daytime Emmy in the Guest Performance in a Daytime Drama Series category.
Van Dyke, 98, appeared on Peacock‘s Days of Our Lives last year, playing Timothy Robicheaux, a man who was suffering from amnesia. He is up against actors Linden Ashby, Ashley Jones, Alley Mills, and Guy Pearce.
Days of Our Lives has been on the air since 1965 across nearly 15,000 episodes. The four-episode stint was Van Dyke’s first cameo on the program.
In 2020, Van Dyke was named a Kennedy Center honoree, alongside Debbie Allen, Joan Baez, Garth Brooks, and Midori. Van Dyke was the Master of Ceremony at the first Kennedy Center Honors event.

This comes after Van Dyke has already won five Emmys, a Tony, a Grammy, a BAFTA, and the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Emmys are slated for June 7. Hosts and Lifetime Achievement honorees have yet to be announced.
