Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) has been released from the hospital after being admitted last week with a severe case of shingles.
"I want to thank everyone for the well wishes and the hospital staff for providing excellent care. I’m recovering at home now while I continue receiving treatment and look forward to returning to the Senate as soon as possible," she said in a statement Tuesday.

DIANNE FEINSTEIN'S UNCEREMONIOUS EXIT FROM CONGRESS
Feinstein, 89, recently announced that she would retire at the end of her current term in 2024. She is one of two Democratic senators currently missing votes after Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) checked himself into Walter Reid for severe depression; Feinstein received care in San Francisco.
Both of their absences will leave the Senate with a 49-49 partisan split until Feinstein returns.

Fetterman was admitted to the hospital on Feb. 15 and will keep receiving treatment for clinical depression for the foreseeable future.
