Alan Dershowitz signaled on Sunday that any new information related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, will not be found in the grand jury transcripts from their prosecutions that the Trump administration requested be unsealed.

Late last week, President Donald Trump ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to “produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony” related to Epstein, citing the renewed attention given to the convicted sex offender after the FBI and DOJ concluded their investigation, finding no Epstein “client list” and that he committed suicide in his Manhattan jail cell. The Department of Justice moved to request the unsealing of grand jury transcripts on Friday, asking federal judges in New York to release them with the “appropriate redactions of victim-related and other personal identifying information.”

Despite the movement from the Trump administration to put an end to the Epstein files that has now angered both its MAGA supporters and Democrats, Dershowitz said while the grand jury transcripts “should” be released, no revelations are in those files but are instead in “sealed records by two or three federal judges in the New York courts.”

“The information that hasn’t been requested is going to be far more informative and far more relevant than the grand jury information,” Dershowitz said on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream. “Grand jury information is narrowly tailored by prosecutors only to provide sufficient evidence to result in an indictment.”

The former Epstein lawyer and Harvard law professor then called for the release of “discovery information,” including depositions in Maxwell’s case, which he said is “much more important” and could lead to new details.

In terms of Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted of child sex trafficking for Epstein, Dershowitz called for her to be granted immunity to testify in front of a congressional committee, saying she “knows everything.”

“She is the Rosetta Stone. She knows everything. She arranged every single trip with everybody. She knows everything. And if she were just given use immunity, she could be compelled to testify. I’m told that she actually would be willing to testify. And there’d be no reason for her to withhold any information,” Dershowitz said.
