A group of about 20 women gathered in Klode Park, off the shore of Lake Michigan in Whitefish, Wisconsin, to engage in a “primal scream” to show their “pain and frustration” over Vice President Kamala Harris‘s 2024 presidential election loss to President-elect Donald Trump.
“What a gorgeous morning to gather at Klode Park in Whitefish Bay to engage in a Primal Scream in order to release our pain and frustration after the election. If you zoom in you will see Trump supporters proudly waving their flag on top of the hill. Many thanks to the MPD for keeping us safe,” attendee Tamara Gibbs wrote on her Facebook page.
Videos of the disappointed Democratic supporters of Harris screaming on the windy and sandy lake shore on Nov. 9 went viral this week.
In one video posted by Gibbs, a group of women is seen screaming while overlooking the lake. When the screaming lessened, some women hugged one another as another recorded herself with her cell phone still screaming. Other women jumped into the freezing lake water after releasing their primal scream.
One social media user responded, “Deranged.”
“Karens Go To A Lake To Scream Because Trump Won,” another person on X said.
In another video posted by Gibbs, the women are seen standing in a circle as one woman told the other women that if Harris runs again in four years, she wants to “help her win.”
Another primal scream attendee said in the video that they “need to work at the local level” and to “start organizing.”
“We have an opportunity in this state in two years to take back the legislative [branch],” she added.
Trump won the battleground state of Wisconsin in the 2024 election, taking its 10 electoral votes that helped send him to victory.
On the week of Thanksgiving, Harris supporters heard from Vice President Kamala Harris after she had been vacationing in Hawaii and staying off the radar.

“I just have to remind you, don’t let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before Nov. 5, and you have the same purpose that you did. And you have the same ability to engage and inspire. So don’t ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you,” Harris said.
Many social media users mocked her video message as being “off” and “terrible.” Some on the X platform suggested that she was “hammered.”
