During the arduous 2024 campaign, then-candidate Donald Trump promised the country that he would reduce the size of government, restore our founding values, and return freedoms to the people.
Now on the job, President Trump and his staff have descended on agency after agency, taking a sledgehammer to a federal bureaucracy that has been unaccountable for too long. The Trump administration is delivering relentless shockwaves against an embedded deep state in the government. Many people have been shocked at the corrupt waste of taxpayer dollars and government abuse being revealed every day. They are grateful that Trump is working hard to address this problem head-on.

Most of these efforts have taken place through the president’s strategic partnership with Elon Musk. In addition to Musk, there appears to be a small army that Trump has amassed for his initial shelling of the federal bureaucracy — bright men and women who are fully committed to carrying out the president’s orders.
The president has also been working to clean out the woke and un-American diversity, equity, and inclusion and environmental justice agendas that have handcuffed our nation in recent years. Under the Biden administration, DEI and other radical efforts to transform our nation were pervasive in just about every government department and agency. These efforts wasted taxpayer resources and undermined the values and principles that have made this country the envy of the world.
Unfortunately, some people are very unhappy about the president’s actions. Foremost among them are Democratic Party attorneys general. They have fired off several lawsuits against the White House to stop its righteous agenda in its infancy. They would rather bureaucrats run free, that billions of taxpayer dollars continue to be wasted, and that our children remain subject to brainwashing with anti-American propaganda. These attorneys general have been tripping over themselves to file lawsuits in select federal courts around the nation. Several of the challenges have been strategically launched in favorable pro-Democrat jurisdictions, adding more proof that these suits are purely political in nature. Some attorneys general have even fundraised over their lawsuits!
Arizona’s Attorney General, Kris Mayes, has been at the forefront of this cabal of state prosecutors — even though she won office two years ago by fewer than 300 votes. You would think that Mayes would attempt to work across the aisle. Instead, she is now scheming with the likes of California’s and New York’s attorneys general to stop Trump in his tracks — or at least tie up his efforts in the federal court system.
But while those Democratic attorneys general may be winning significant brownie points with their liberal base, they are compromising the future of our country. The United States is tens of trillions of dollars in debt, which leaves us highly vulnerable to our adversaries (or any of our creditors for that matter). As we just experienced over the past four years, rule by the federal bureaucracy is crippling this nation; our nation can only function, let alone prosper, when it has a president who will bring the bureaucracy to heel. To be clear, these leftist lawyers deserve a swift rebuke from the United States Supreme Court.
Thankfully, the people can see through these desperate charades from the left. Case in point, a recent Arizona focus group conducted by Engagious-Sago for Axios showed that Trump and Musk’s efforts have broad appeal and support despite the crescendo of outrage around the swing voters who were polled. The president of Engagious told a media outlet that “these swing voters are delighted by Musk’s Trump-endorsed government housecleaning.” One of the voters said, “I like how he’s cleaning house in the government,” with another adding, “He said he was going to do this, this, this and this, and this is what he is starting to get done.”

I believe time will tell that Trump’s mission to finish what he started in his first term, to drain the swamp and make America great again, will be successful. As is his custom, the president is facing heavy odds. Still, he is advancing.
Future generations will benefit greatly for it.
