Country musician Morgan Wallen was arrested early Monday morning in Nashville, Tennessee, after he allegedly threw a chair off a six-story building, according to police.

Wallen, 30, was booked on three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Police stated in a post online that the chair had been thrown off the roof of Chief’s bar and landed close to two Metropolitan Nashville Police Department officers.

Witnesses told police they were standing next to Wallen and saw him “pick up the chair, throw it over him, laughing afterward,” according to a police affidavit.

Police have also reviewed footage of what happened, which showed the country singer “lunging and throwing an object off the roof.”

Wallen has posted a bond of $15,250, according to a court official. Worrick Robinson, the singer’s lawyer, has also stated that the singer is fully cooperating with the authorities.

No injuries have been reported from this incident.

The musician is no stranger to controversy, as footage of him shouting the N-word resurfaced in February 2021, resulting in his label, Big Loud Records, suspending his contract at the time, saying, “Such behavior will not be tolerated.”
