Coney Island will close at the end of 2023.
The iconic Cincinnati amusement park announced Thursday that once it wraps up its “Night of Lights” holiday event on Dec. 31, it will permanently shut down. Coney Island began operating in 1886 and added its Sunlite Pool in 1925.
