Washington Examiner Senior Writer Joe Concha blasted the Democratic Party for going against President Donald Trump’s deportation efforts that are supported by the majority of Americans.
Concha’s comments come as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in the LA area sparked several protests. ICE detained some 45 immigrants near the local Home Depot. As Concha pointed out, deportations center those who are “here illegally who committed murder, including of children,” among other crimes.

“This is an effort that almost all sane and sober Americans support, yet Democrats are imploring their fringe supporters to resist. They won’t condemn the violence, the attacks on law enforcement, only President [Donald] Trump and ICE,” Concha said on Fox News’s Fox and Friends First Tuesday. “If you live in California, why would you ever stay in that state, given the way it is run, because Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass are in charge. We are witnessing political suicide of the Democratic Party, to John Fetterman’s point, in real time. They have lost the moral high ground, and they can’t lecture about enforcing the law and the laws on the books ever again if they are not condemning this the way they should.”
The reference to Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) came after his X post condemning the protests that became riots. Some have set fires to cars, including Waymo taxis, thrown frozen water bottles or cinderblocks at police cars, among other acts of destruction.

“I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration—but this is not that. This is anarchy and true chaos,” Fetterman wrote online, along with a picture of burning cars. “My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement.”
