The time has come to say that “enough is enough” when it comes to this country’s indoctrinated and toxic left-wing radicals. Once again, the young socialists and communists who want nothing more than to see our country ruined have been organizing violent protests and takeovers on college campuses. It’s time to call this for what it is.
“This really is Coachella for communists,” Tricia McLaughlin said during a recent segment on Fox News.
And she’s absolutely correct. The vanity of their overvalued self-importance has seduced today’s protesters through revolutionary left-wing political ideology.
For the last 12 years, ever since the Trayvon Martin case, extremist left-wing activist groups have repeatedly done everything they could to try to rip this country apart. And they have done it all under the guise of compassion and social justice. From Black Lives Matter to antifa to this year’s latest political temper tantrum, the country must realize these are nothing more than attempts by socialists and communists to cause friction in the country and spur its demise.
It’s the same playbook they have been using since the early 1900s. The strategies and tactics have remained the same, but their (supposed) causes have changed over the years. The objective has always been to bring down Western civilization, especially the United States.
“Communists strike when they see instability and a power vacuum,” McLaughlin, Republican strategist and CEO of Insurgent Strategies, told me.
“The U.S. is lacking moral clarity and leadership in the White House — in academia and almost every major institution in American life,” McLaughlin said. “Like in Russia in 1917 and Mao’s Cultural Revolution in 1966, these factions are exploiting chaos and lack of competent leadership as a means of grabbing power.”
And that insatiable thirst for power impels these protests and demonstrations. On the surface, this year’s “outrage” is expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people against a conflict with Israel. Through an arsenal of violence, harassment, intimidation, inflammatory rhetoric, and criminal activity, these communist and socialist extremists are working to usher in a left-wing utopia.
That is their ultimate objective. All the outrage witnessed on campuses throughout the country is nothing more than a distraction to try to spread and implement their communist and socialist ideals slowly.
The irony is they are causing this destruction and chaos on the lawns and in the buildings of academia, the very group responsible for their radical brainwashing. For decades, the nation’s colleges and universities have been corrupted with left-wing acolytes. The sons and daughters of the socialist and communist hippies of yesteryear became the teachers, professors, and educators who indoctrinate the socialist and communist agitators on campuses today.
“We all knew colleges and universities were increasingly ‘woke.’ I think we didn’t realize how much these schools are breeding rabid America-hating, terrorist apologists,” McLaughlin said. “Perhaps we realized it, but to see it with our own eyes is startling.”
“Coachella for communists” was an excellent description by McLaughlin. It was perfectly applicable to today’s generation while channeling the communist failures of the hippies of yesteryear. They are not revolutionaries. They are petulant children unable to take care of anyone, including themselves, desperate for attention and purpose in life.

Schools, colleges, and universities have spent decades brainwashing students into believing socialist and communist ideals. But the people engaging in these demonstrations are not serious. There are many examples of this, but perhaps none was a better metaphor than the protester at Columbia who stormed a building and then stood outside and asked the university to provide these lawbreakers food and drinks.
It was reminiscent of the irresponsible left-wingers at Woodstock in 1969 who shunned capitalism and the U.S. while preaching about peace, love, and music but needed the U.S. military to rescue them with food supplies. Over 50 years later, the rotten apples didn’t fall far from their corrosive trees.
