The DOJ is not looking into the laptop of President Joe Biden's son, and there is no reason it should be taking years to complete, according to Honig.

"This investigation is a tax issue," he said. "Did Hunter Biden declare his income? And a sort of obscure gun law. Did he possess a gun while he was addicted to drugs, which you're not allowed to do under federal law?"
"But five years? I mean, that's a five-week investigation, and this spans the Trump administration and the Biden administration."
The time is now to make a decision about Hunter Biden's purported criminal actions, according to Honig.
