Charlie Kirk was shot during an event at Utah Valley University, with reports claiming the Turning Point USA head or neck was hit.

A source familiar with the matter said it appeared Kirk had been shot somewhere near his neck, but did not provide any other details.

Bystanders told Deseret News that Kirk was hit during a Q&A with students.

“I am tracking the situation at Utah Valley University closely. Please join me in praying for Charlie Kirk and the students gathered there,” Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) said.
