Caitlyn Jenner bashed Nike on Twitter Thursday after transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney announced a partnership with the sports giant while modeling leggings and a sports bra.
Mulvaney, a biological male who identifies as female, announced the partnership on Instagram in a post while wearing the brand's female sportswear.

"As someone that grew up in awe of what Phil Knight did, it is a shame to see such an iconic American company go so woke!" Jenner, a biological male who identifies as female, tweeted. "We can be inclusive but not at the expense of the mass majority of people, and have some decency while being inclusive. This is an outrage."
EQUALITY > INCLUSIVITY (STOP TRYING TO ERASE WOMEN). The differences between men and women are real and are a good thing! It doesn’t make trans ppl a bad thing, either. Why is it so black and white with the RADICAL RAINBOW MAFIA?! https://t.co/iRh7NNsfFa

The Olympic gold medalist's lambasting of Nike comes days after Jenner launched the "Fairness First" political action committee.
"We are a movement, non-partisan in nature, with the intention of empowering parental rights especially in light of radical gender ideology infiltrating our children in school — especially in sports and the classroom," the PAC's website reads.
"We value protecting young children, and the parental rights associated with having your young child go through the indoctrinating instruction in school and unfair advantages of biological boys competing against girls in sports."
Jenner's criticism of Nike for partnering with Mulvaney comes from someone who was a face of H&M's sportswear line, H&M Sport, and modeled female sportswear in 2016.
A little context…I did a collab with H&M (I have done many athletic brand collabs over the years as a successful athlete). I don’t blame Dylan (smart move????). I did not like how Nike treated Allyson Felix when she became pregnant. I spoke on the outrage of disparity in their pay https://t.co/U3fMaMM3td

"Sportswear and sports are great ways to bring out a message and to create understanding," Jenner said during a 2016 interview. "This is an issue of humanity. It doesn't have borders. It affects every race, every color of skin. It doesn’t make any difference who you are. To be involved with H&M on a global basis, to bring understanding, is really important."

Social media was quick to point out Jenner's partnership, and the former Olympian added context.

Jenner isn't the only one upset with Nike about this new partnership. Former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies called Nike’s campaign “so frustrating,” and said people must now resort to boycotts to take a stand against the “disdain that women are being treated with.”
