The Washington Examiner's Byron York raised a red flag to the recent revelations pulled from the WhatsApp messages of Hunter Biden.

York appeared on Friday's episode of the Ingraham Angle to discuss the messages sent from the president's son to a Chinese senior business associate, calling them "the biggest piece of new evidence that we've seen in quite a long time." In the message, Biden allegedly threatened that his father, Joe Biden, could "forever hold a grudge" should the business not go his way.

"It's the strongest piece of evidence we have yet that Joe Biden was aware and was there," York said. "And if he wasn't — if Hunter Biden was lying, if there's some other circumstance, then we need to know that."

The White House counsel has denied any allegations that Joe Biden was involved in his son's business in a comment to the Washington Examiner.

"Certainly, as of Tuesday, the White House seemed to think that the whole Hunter Biden thing was over and closed," York said, referring to Hunter Biden pleading guilty to two tax misdemeanors and making a deal to resolve a felony firearms charge. "In, you know, 48 hours, out come Republicans with this evidence that they have gathered, and it is by no means all of the evidence that they've got."

York predicted that the scandal will not go away anytime soon.
