Fox News host Brian Kilmeade bashed former President Donald Trump over his airing of a video of Jan. 6 at a rally in Waco, Texas.
Trump held his first 2024 presidential campaign rally on Sunday, during which he bashed a number of familiar opponents, including the United States bureaucracy, Democrats, and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), a likely 2024 primary opponent. The rally's opening featured "Justice for All," a hit song featuring a choir of Jan. 6 defendants and Trump, and its video includes images of the Capitol riot.

The Fox & Friends host took issue with the rally in general but specifically the parts featuring images of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
“The United States former president opened up with Jan. 6 video, which is insane,” Kilmeade said.

“He should be running from that, period,” he said. “I don’t care his point of view — that is not a good thing for him. I thought that was absolutely awful. Even though he is winning in the polls, that will not help.”
Trump's song featuring Jan. 6 defendants jumped to the top of iTunes charts, beating stars such as Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus, which Trump was happy to point out at the rally.
