Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl Champion Brett Favre slammed the Left’s attacks against Elon Musk and the destruction of Teslas as “frightening” and “evil.”

“I just think that the Left in this case, and in a lot of cases, is very evil to even remotely attack this guy the way they have,” Favre, an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, told The Ricky Cobb Show. “It’s absolutely crazy, and it’s just really frightening.”

For years, Democrats and the Left adored Elon Musk for his inventions and his desire for technological progress, Favre added.

“Back up, Elon Musk several years ago was a Democrat, and they loved him,” Favre said. “He was the most brilliant inventor and smartest guy ever, richest guy in the world. You know, he was on the pedestal.”

“Now, he is working for free and trying to make this country better, and does he need it? Does he need to do that? If he wanted to ride off or fly off into the sunset and buy up several islands and never be heard from again, he could do that.”

Musk, like Trump, is not required to spend any time on anything that he does not want to, but he is working to make America great again because he loves this country, Favre continued.

“People are hating him for that, and I hate it for Elon, and I know he’s gonna be OK. He’s a lot smarter than all of us, and he’s pretty resilient,” he said.

“Anyone who is willing to do what he is doing for this country deserves all the accolades that you can give him, not the negative backlash,” Favre added.

Favre’s defense of Musk comes as protesters across the nation damage Teslas, call Musk a Nazi, and protest the work of the Department of Government Efficiency.

The Department of Justice is seeking a 20-year prison sentence against Cooper Frederick, the man accused of firebombing a Colorado Tesla dealership earlier this month.

“I’ve made it clear: If you take part in the wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, we will find you, arrest you, and put you behind bars,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said Monday. “All of these cases are a serious threat to public safety; therefore, there will be no negotiating.”

“Let this be a warning: You can run, but you cannot hide. Justice is coming,” she said.
