Something happened in Boston last weekend that should be the top story in Massachusetts , but the legacy media has largely ignored it.

First responders found four children living in squalid conditions in a South Boston apartment filled with alcohol, drugs, and sex toys. Police arrived on the scene after a man who identified as a woman  died of a heart attack at a party filled with other men pretending to be women. When first responders arrived, the attendees hid the children from law enforcement , and none of the adults on the scene cooperated with the first responders.

No one should ever expose children to drug-fueled sexual debauchery. Yet, these small children were present at a party that featured drugs and sex toys. This is a tragedy that sums up so many societal problems.

The story exemplifies one of the many problems with the transgender movement. Transgender individuals are far more likely to abuse drugs , have HIV , work as prostitutes , suffer from mental health problems , and commit suicide than those who do not identify this way.

That is a tragedy, not a lifestyle worth promoting.

Given that environmental factors seem to contribute to gender dysphoria , body dysmorphia , and the social contagion of more young Americans identifying as transgender, the government should never promote or affirm the false notion that people can change their gender, be it schools promoting transgenderism in their curricula or through transgender accommodations enshrined in law.

There is nothing a man can do to become a woman and vice versa. And unfortunately, those who attempt to defy natural law instead of pursuing conventional methods to address their depression, anxiety, or boredom endure terrible consequences for their actions.

Although this tragedy in Boston warrants mass media attention, many legacy media outlets have ignored it. As of Thursday morning, there was no story in The Boston Globe about this tragedy and nothing in the Politico Massachusetts Playbook, nor have the liberals at GBH News (PBS affiliate) and WBUR (NPR affiliate) covered it.

Instead, one could find stories sympathetic to Gov. Maura Healey's push for pre-K through grade 12 so-called LGBT-inclusive sex-ed reform, the mythical threat to abortion rights in Massachusetts, and even "The hidden queer history of Boston suffragettes" in WBUR's case. About half a dozen people will care about that last one.

The South Boston story does not fit the legacy media's narrative because members of one of their favorite victim groups did something wrong. If people knew what happened, they might condemn the transgender individuals who exposed small children to these unsafe and inappropriate conditions. It might even turn public opinion further against the transgender movement, as has happened in the past two years .
