A man in Chicago who filed a class-action lawsuit against Buffalo Wild Wings has lost in court.
Aimen Halim tried to sue the popular sports bar chain over the marketing of its boneless wings. He argued that "reasonable consumers are led to believe that the Products are actually boneless wings" in documents filed in the U.S. District Court of Northern Illinois.

"In other words, that the Products are chicken wings that have simply been deboned, and as such, are comprised of entirely chicken wing meat. Unbeknownst to Plaintiff and other consumers, the Products are not wings, but instead slices of chicken breast meat. Thus, the marketing and advertising of the Products as Boneless Wing is false and misleading," the suit read.
But a judge wasn't buying it. The case was dismissed, and Buffalo Wild Wings followed up with a response on social media.
It’s true.

"It’s true. Our boneless wings are all white meat chicken. Our hamburgers contain no ham. Our buffalo wings are 0% buffalo," the company tweeted.
This isn't the first time Halim has unsuccessfully sued a major company. He reportedly has challenged brands such as Hefty over claims its "recycling bags" aren't actually recyclable. That case was dismissed as well.
