Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Justice Department will be releasing information on the Jeffrey Epstein files on Thursday.

“What you’re going to see, hopefully tomorrow, is a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, a lot of information, but it’s pretty sick what that man did,” Bondi told Fox News’s Jesse Watters.

Bondi has been facing pressure from both Democratic and Republican lawmakers to release the investigation files into Epstein, the deceased billionaire who was accused of sex trafficking more than 250 women and underaged girls. 

Bondi shared with Fox News on Friday that she is in possession of files related to the Epstein investigation, which could potentially include Epstein’s client list and the names of many high-profile people.

“It’s sitting on my desk right now to review,” Bondi told Fox News’s John Roberts.

Last fall, President Donald Trump shared on the Lex Fridman podcast that he would consider releasing the Epstein files if he were elected president. 

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), among the lawmakers who have asked Bondi to release the files, celebrated the attorney general’s announcement. 

“This is the transparency the American people voted for! WELL DONE @AGPamBondi!” Luna wrote on social media. “The Epstein flight and lists will be dropping tomorrow.”

Last year, a federal court unsealed records related to Epstein, which referenced Trump, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and others, but it gave little details of the nature of their relationships with Epstein. Instead, it included relatively benign details, such as Clinton having flown on Epstein’s private jet. Neither Trump nor Clinton was accused of wrongdoing during the investigation. 

In 2019, while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges, Epstein killed himself in a Manhattan jail cell. His associate Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse minors in 2022.
