Billie Eilish, pop star singer of songs “Ocean Eyes” and “Bad Guy”, shared in a video posted on X and Instagram that will be voting for Kamala Harris this election.

Eilish, along her older brother Finneas O’Connell made the announcement on National Voter Registration Day in which they urged her followers to check to see if they were registered to vote through IWillVote.com

“We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet and our democracy,” Eilish said.

Her brother then said that they must not let “extremists” control their lives.

“The only way to stop them and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda is to vote and elect Kamala Harris,” O’Connell said.

IWillVote.com is a hub which directs people to register to vote and also determines if they are registered. It is paid for by the Democratic National Committee.

The 22-year-old pop star has been incredibly vocal about her disdain for former President Donald Trump. A first time voter for the 2020 election, Eilish made a video appearance at the Democratic National Convention in which she disparaged Trump for his stances on COVID-19 and climate change.

Just last week, Taylor Swift announced that she will also be voting for Harris. While in previous elections Swift has been vocal about her criticism of Trump and other Republicans; she’s been more quiet up until last week.

On Sunday, Trump took to TruthSocial where he declared: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”

Other notable celebrities to endorse Harris include Charli XCX as she dubbed Harris “brat”, Beyonce, Cardi B, and Demi Lovato.
