President Joe Biden, who the late President Jimmy Carter can thank for replacing him as the worst modern president, used every trope in the book to mask his utter failure as commander in chief.
Listening to Biden’s address solidified that he was living in a different reality than the rest of Americans over the last four years.
While we all struggled with inflationary prices on everyday goods and groceries, he bragged about leaving behind a stronger economy. While we all saw constant headlines about illegal migrant crime, he claimed America was safer. And while we all remember the nonstop global failures such as his disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal and the outbreak of wars overseas, he claimed America’s global position is stronger than it was four years ago.
WHICH JAN. 6 DEFENDERS COULD SEE PARDONS
His administration used lawfare to attack President-elect Donald Trump and pro-life Americans, yet he claimed he worked to unite us and warned us about the “abuse of power” by our national leaders. And as his administration persecuted families at school board meetings, he pardoned his son for federal crimes, after swearing he wouldn’t, claiming that “family is everything.”
Obviously, none of these claims are even close to the truth. Any citizen, whether living in a city or small town across the country, could tell you that. What is true, however, is that America is a resilient country.
Though Biden and the Democrats are leaving behind a legacy of weakness, Americans have plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the future. On Monday, Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States. We are set to begin a new chapter in America and the foundation is already being laid.
HOW THE US CAN CATCH CHINA IN CRITICAL MINERALS RACE
Last November, voters elected leaders who are determined to fix the mistakes of the last four years and put our country on a stronger and brighter path. With Trump back in the White House and Republican majorities in the Senate and House led by Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), conservatives have a historic opportunity to accomplish great things.
In fact, we’ve already seen the Trump Effect start to set in. Trump announced a ceasefire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas — an incredible step taken even before he is officially in office. And just as Reagan solved the Iranian hostage crisis that Carter couldn’t, it took a strong Republican leader to bring hostages home from the Middle East — and Trump did it before he even took office. Last week, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau resigned following Trump’s promise of tariffs without Canada’s cooperation on border security and ending drug trafficking.
In Congress, Republicans have already hit the ground running as Majority Leader Thune has quickly begun Senate confirmation hearings to ensure President Trump’s Cabinet and team is in place on Day One. Speaker Johnson has already passed important legislation such as the Laken Riley Act and the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, and he has set an aggressive timeline for a robust reconciliation package that will extend the successful Trump tax credits.
Overall optimism is also growing in the country. A post-election CBS News/YouGov poll found that a staggering 59% of voters approved of President Trump’s handling of the transition with half of voters saying they believe “America’s best days are ahead.”
Meanwhile, a Marist poll released yesterday suggested that a majority believe Biden will be remembered poorly, or even considered one of the worst presidents in history. It is clear that after the last four years of failure and chaos, Joe Biden’s alternate reality of economic growth, safe neighborhoods, and strength overseas is seen as a farce, nothing more than a revisionist’s wordplay.

There is a long list of policies for which Americans voted when they returned Trump to the White House. Foremost are border security, safer neighborhoods and supporting the American family, energy independence, greater economic opportunity, and foreign policy that keeps us and our allies secure.
Having finally achieved his life’s goal of becoming president, lifetime politician Joe Biden leaves behind a legacy of a diminished and divided country. No one asked for this speech from a failed president. We said our goodbyes in the voting booth, and we are looking forward to Monday.
