President Joe Biden heartily attacked former President Donald Trump and the "extreme MAGA movement" in Colorado on Wednesday afternoon.

Biden was previously scheduled to travel to Colorado in October, but that visit was postponed due to the outbreak of war in Israel. The president's Wednesday speech and visit to a CS Wind facility in Pueblo saw Biden shift focus back from Israel, the war in Ukraine, and recent high-level conversations with China to domestic topics.

For months, Biden has tied his reelection pitch to voters around Bidenomics, the summation of his economic platform. On Wednesday, he claimed that his legislative spending bills, specifically the CHIPS and Science Act, Inflation Reduction Act, and bipartisan infrastructure law, are bringing "good-paying jobs" back to communities such as Pueblo.

The president also went after Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), who represents Pueblo, for voting against his spending bills.

"Folks, we haven't gotten a whole lot of help from some members of Congress on the other side of the aisle in the United States Congress. The historic investments we're celebrating today is in Congressman Boebert's district," Biden told the crowd. "She's one of the leaders of this extreme MAGA movement. She, along with every single Republican colleague, voted against the law that made these investments in jobs possible, and that's not hyperbole. It's a fact, and then she voted to repeal key parts of this law. And she calls this law a massive failure."

"Tell that to the 850 Coloradans who got new jobs in Pueblo and CS Wind thanks to this law. Tell that the local economy, who is going to benefit from these investments," he continued. "Folks, none of that sounds like a massive failure to me. How about you? I mean, it's crazy. This is an incredible opportunity."

Biden proceeded to claim that House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), "Donald Trump, and the MAGA Republicans here in Congress are committed to protecting outrageous tax cuts for those at the very top, and they're going to continue to oppose investing in all those programs that help people, whether it's in education, healthcare, whatever."

"I've said this to every major world leader. It's never, never, never been a good bet to bet against the American people," Biden concluded. "I mean this from the bottom of my heart. I've never been more optimistic about America's future at the end of the day. We just have to remember who in God's name we are. We're the United States of America, and there's nothing, nothing beyond our capacity when we work together."

Biden's speech, which took place at the largest wind turbine manufacturing facility in the world, comes as the president has decided to skip the United Nation's COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai.
