Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was interrupted during her prepared remarks in President Joe Biden's impeachment hearing Thursday.

Greene had been utilizing poster boards as she discussed Hunter Biden's alleged sexual exploitation of women. As she raised a poster that featured a woman lying face down in a small swimsuit, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) interrupted her by calling on House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) to stop her remarks. Greene has previously shown screenshots of the president's son's sexually illicit activities on the House floor, so Raskin assumed from a glimpse that she was attempting to do so again.

The Maryland representative, who also serves as the committee's ranking member, cited a House rule that allows for objections to exhibits brought on the House floor. All exhibits are subject to the permission of the Chair, who can cause them to be withdrawn.

"It is sad that my Democrat colleagues pretend to care about women’s rights while allowing Hunter Biden to exploit women," Greene said following Raskin's interruption. "This is a shame."

“Mr. Chairman, our colleague in Georgia has introduced before pornographic exhibits and displayed things that are really not suitable for children who might be watching,” Raskin said.

“A bathing suit is not suitable, Mr. Raskin?” Greene retorted.

“Well, I’m saying I would like the witness, I would like the member to be instructed to not introduce any pornography today, at least without running through the chair first,” Raskin said. Greene gave another objection, saying that this photo is on the internet and therefore likely that they had all seen it before.

"And you are submitting a naked woman’s body," Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) interjected.

“This is a bathing suit. This is a bathing suit!” Greene said. She turned to Ocasio-Cortez to ask her whether or not she was wearing her glasses.

“I have contacts in,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“Congratulations,” Greene said before she was allowed to continue her remarks.

This hearing was meant to focus on “constitutional and legal questions” surrounding the allegations the president was improperly involved in Hunter Biden’s business dealings, a committee aide told the Washington Examiner.
