President Joe Biden’s sanctimonious lectures about climate change are pathetic because it is clear that Biden doesn’t believe in them himself.
Biden posted on Tuesday that “Anyone who willfully denies the impacts of climate change is condemning the American people to a dangerous future.” That is an odd statement for Biden to make, given that he does not believe that climate change is all that serious. After all, if he did, he would not be flying back and forth from the White House to Delaware on a regular basis.
According to the New York Post in November 2022, Biden had already flown between the White House or Joint Base Andrews and his homes in Delaware 101 times during his presidency. That is 101 trips over 22 months, for an average of more than one trip per week. That is not factoring in Biden’s vacations over the last year and a half, either.
Moreover, Biden clearly does not worry too much about climate change, given where he is taking those trips. Biden’s Delaware homes are in Wilmington, which is 92 feet above sea level, and Rehoboth Beach, which is just seven feet above sea level. Biden is not worried about rising sea levels for either of those homes either in the immediate future or, as his love of flying shows, in the foreseeable future.
Nor is this just Biden’s travel habits during his presidency: While running for president in 2019, Biden spent more than double his Democratic competitors on private jets during the third quarter of that year. Biden then spent even more on private jets in the fourth quarter of that year.

Biden isn’t the only climate zealot who does not practice what he preaches. John Kerry, the former presidential candidate turned Biden climate czar, once said that traveling on private jets around the world to swanky award ceremonies was the “only choice” for someone like him. Former President Barack Obama bought a lavish mansion on Martha’s Vineyard, which would be on the front-lines of rising sea levels if climate change destroys the world in seven more years, as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has warned.
If Biden thought climate change was a serious concern, he wouldn’t jet off to his vacation homes practically every weekend, contributing to the very “crisis” he wields as a political tool. Biden, like most climate-preaching elitists, is a hypocrite who cares only about controlling your carbon emissions while he zips around the country to enjoy his own life.
