President Joe Biden is reportedly planning his announcement for a reelection bid as late as July or even in the fall.
The Biden team is eyeing a later announcement because it doesn't see a reason to rush a reelection announcement, per Axios.

The report suggested Biden will not be swayed to enter the race by any Republican candidate's announcement and is not likely to face a difficult challenge in the Democratic primary. His advisers could be delaying an announcement in an effort to have strong fundraising numbers out of the gate for the campaign, which could affect the announcement date.
Earlier reports had suggested Biden would make his 2024 decision early this year, but as the year goes on, it appears he is in no rush to confirm he is running for a second term.
First lady Jill Biden said in a February interview with the Associated Press that there is “pretty much” nothing left to do except decide where and when her husband will announce his 2024 campaign.
Biden, 80, is the oldest U.S. president in history and would be 82 if sworn into a second term in January 2025. He would be 86 when leaving office after a second term in January 2029. Biden, however, has given no indication he will not run for a second term.
The chief rivals for Biden on the Republican side would be former President Donald Trump, whom he beat in 2020, and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

Biden made his 2020 presidential campaign announcement in April 2019, although Biden had to face a full slate of other Democrats in the primary. Trump, the incumbent going into the 2020 election, announced his reelection bid for that race in June 2019.
Biden's only challenger for the Democratic nomination in 2024 is author Marianne Williamson. Some prominent Democrats who could enter the race, including Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), have vowed to support Biden in 2024.
