President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, in tandem with the broader Democratic Party, raised more than $72 million since the president announced his reelection campaign in April.
That number means Biden and Harris have $77 million cash on hand for their coming fight against the 2024 Republican nominee, according to their campaign.

"President Biden and Vice President Harris have seen an outpouring of support in the 67 days since they launched their reelection campaign," the campaign said Friday. "The Biden-Harris team dramatically outraised the announced totals from every GOP candidate running for president, including Donald Trump by more than 2:1 and Ron DeSantis by more than 3:1."
Former President Donald Trump announced this week his joint fundraising committee raised more than $35 during the second quarter. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) raised $20 million during the same time period.
More than 394,000 Biden donors made more than 670,000 contributions across all entities, part of the campaign's joint fundraising agreement with the Democratic National Committee and all 50 state Democratic parties, in addition to the District of Columbia. Ninety-seven percent of all donations were less than $200, and the average grassroots contribution was $39, per the campaign.
"30% percent of our donor universe are new donors since our 2020 campaign," the campaign said. "Biden-Harris 2024’s email list is the largest for a Democratic presidential candidate, including close to 25 million email subscribers."
