Law enforcement has responded to a Wells Fargo bank in Clarendon, Virginia, for a hostage situation after a man entered the bank and demanded money.

The Arlington County Police Department responded to the report of an armed robbery around 3:20 p.m. Cameras around the bank show a heavy police presence.

Police say the suspect, who appears to be a man in his 20s, entered the bank and implied that he had a weapon and demanded money.

"The suspect remains barricaded inside the bank with patrons/employees," the Arlington County Police Department said. "Police remain on scene working to resolve the incident."
