


At least one felony charge is among the charges former President Donald Trump is facing in New York, according to the Associated Press. The case is related to the alleged falsifying of business records regarding a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.
Trump was officially indicted in the case Thursday , and the AP reported that Trump will be formally arraigned on Tuesday. The article noted that the charges against Trump remain sealed and noted that people familiar with the matter spoke on the condition of anonymity.

There were no protests outside the courthouse where Trump is to be arraigned in New York as of about 7 p.m. Friday evening, according to the AP.
Trump is expected to have his mugshot taken and be fingerprinted just like any other suspected law breaker, but he is not expected to be in hand cuffs, the AP wrote.

Congressional Republicans and Trump have contended that the whole case is merely an example of a political attack. Trump and his allies are referring to the situation as "election interference."
