As 11,500 writers have been on strike since May 2 after failing to negotiate higher wages, some TV shows remain in production.

The Writers Guild of America strike has shuttered the production of many television programs. This work stoppage is the first in 15 years. The first post-strike negotiations between the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers and the Directors Guild of America began earlier this month. In the meantime, shows have aired repeat episodes.

The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists is next to vote to strike or not the first week in June, possibly joining the writers strike.

"We need a contract that will increase contributions to our benefit plans and protect members from erosion of income due to inflation and reduced residuals, unregulated use of generative AI, and demanding self-taped auditions," SAG-AFTRA wrote in a statement to union members on its website.

Should SAG-AFTRA vote to strike, it would affect every show above, with the exception of Live with Kelly and Mark, The View, and Let's Make a Deal.

SAG-AFTRA members will submit their votes by June 5 to ready for negotiations with Amazon/MGM, Apple, NBCUniversal, Disney/ABC/Fox, Netflix, Paramount/CBS, Sony, and Warner Bros. Discovery on June 7.
