The United States Army has halted its new "Be All You Can Be" advertisement campaign after the arrest of actor Jonathan Majors, who featured in it.

The Washington Examiner confirmed Monday that the Army has stopped airing the first wave of ads in its new campaign after the arrest of its on-screen narrator. The video is also no longer available on its YouTube channel.

According to police, “The victim informed police she was assaulted."

"Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition," a spokesperson for the New York City Police Department reportedly said.

On Sunday, the Military Times reported that the ad campaign had been paused, citing military officials.

"The U.S. Army is aware of the arrest of Jonathan Majors and we are deeply concerned by the allegations surrounding his arrest," Army Enterprise Marketing Office Public Affairs Chief Laura DeFrancisco said in a statement to the Washington Examiner. "We recently released two ads in which Mr. Majors appears. While Mr. Majors is innocent until proven guilty, prudence dictates that we pause our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete."

Despite the arrest, Majors's attorney says he is “completely innocent.”

“We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the district attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently,” his lawyer Priya Chaudhry reportedly said.

The army revived the famous ad campaign earlier this month. "Be All You Can Be" was first used in 1981 in commercials that played during college football bowl games on New Year’s. The jingle was used in campaigns until 2001.
