Under the Trump administration, the Justice Department is ramping up riot-related prosecutions, especially against far-left actors assaulting federal officers and vandalizing government property.
Dozens of antifa-affiliated extremists are facing federal charges brought by the Trump DOJ, including accusations of violent crimes carrying years of mandatory prison sentences. The risk of prison time is reportedly deterring some seasoned rioters from returning, devastating the numbers antifa needs to take to the streets nightly.
