“Today we announced key changes to our U.S. leadership team that reduce layers within our organization and better enable our top commercial leaders to drive our business and legacy forward,” Anhesuer-Busch U.S. CEO Brendan Whitworth said in a statement. “These senior leadership changes will accelerate our return to growth as we continue to focus on what we do best — brewing great beer for everyone and earning our place in moments that matter.”
U.S. Chief Commercial Officer Kyle Norrington will be taking over Garbe's duties. Meanwhile, Garbe is about "to embark on a new chapter in his career."
This third quarter, Anheuser-Busch reported a 5% increase in revenue after several months of losses. Beer volume was still down 4%. The quarter before that saw a 10% loss in the United States alone, which added up to $400 million less.
