MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell is under fire Wednesday after pointing out that over half the nation sees President Joe Biden's mental and physical health as a major concern.

"The new NBC News poll shows 68% of all voters say that they are concerned about President Biden having the necessary mental and physical health to do the job," Mitchell said. "That includes 55% with major concerns."

She noted that those numbers have risen considerably since Biden was elected in 2020, and voters appear far less concerned about the age of former President Donald Trump.

"Joe Biden is now 80 years old, and, if reelected, he would be the oldest president in American history, turning 86 by the end of a second term," according to Mitchell.

Mitchell's highlighting of Biden's age and voters' concerns was not well received by many on the left.

"I'd like to see Andrea Mitchell in a bike race with President Biden…Biden would win," one user on Twitter commented. "If anyone is too old and needs to retire, it's Andrea Mitchell."

"Andrea Mitchell is the last person who should be ragging on how old Biden is," another tweet read.

"Good grief, she looks way older than he does & it's clear her brain ceased functioning years ago."

"Joe Biden jokes about his age to counter voter’s concerns and b**** Andrea Mitchell pounces on it as another opportunity to say how old he'd be in a second term," one user commented. "So obvious [whose] side she on."
