NextImg:All living Israeli hostages officially freed from Hamas captivity

The remaining 13 living hostages that were held captive by Hamas for more than two years have been released and are now reportedly safe with Israel Defense Force troops in Gaza.

The 13 remaining hostages released were: Elkana Bohbot, Rom Braslavski, Nimrod Cohen, Ariel Cunio, David Cunio, Evyatar David, Maxim Herkin, Eitan Horn, Segev Kalfon, Bar Kupershtein, Yosef-Haim Ohana, Avinatan Or, and Matan Zangauker.

The IDF confirmed the release on early Monday between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time, according to reports. Seven hostages were freed earlier Monday morning, shortly before President Donald Trump arrived in Tel Aviv, Israel. 

Meanwhile, upon his arrival, Trump received an enthusiastic greeting from Israelis. A billboard expressed gratitude to the president for his efforts in negotiating the hostage release and ceasefire deal. Others were seen cheering on a video posted to social media: “Thank you, Trump!” 

“The love in the streets has just been incredible,” said Trump after arriving at the Knesset, Israel’s parliamentary building. “It’s just been a great day.”

FIRST OF SEVEN HOSTAGES FREED AND TRANSPORTED TO ISRAEL

The president also celebrated the release of all the hostages and acknowledged their courage and bravery during their captivity.

“We’re so happy for them,” Trump said. “They’re going to be happy and they’re going to have a great life.”

“They’ve been very brave,” he added.
