The admitted head of a multistate prostitution ring operating out of a Chicago three-story brothel-like building was ordered Tuesday to serve less than a year of probation.

Jessica Nesbitt, 35, was ordered to serve at least nine months of a two-year probation after pleading guilty to a federal conspiracy charge in February, according to a report.

"It's difficult to look upon this as a crime that had identifiable victims who suffered significant harm," United States District Judge Matthew Kennelly said.

Operating out of Chicago, Nesbitt raked in millions through services provided in California, Florida, Indiana, Wisconsin, Washington, D.C., Nevada, and Illinois, according to a federal indictment unsealed in 2019.

Rates for the services organized by Nesbitt's business ranged from $300 to $1,000 per hour, she said.

Nesbitt became involved in "an alternative lifestyle at a very young age" and used it to make her living.

"Kink Extraordinaire" operated for at least seven years, according to the report.

Nesbitt takes "full responsibility" for her actions, she told Kennelly prior to her sentencing.

She had "become well-versed in the potential harmful effects of prostitution," she said. "Whatever sentence you impose, I will comply."
