GOP SHIFT FROM FREE TRADE IS IRREVERSIBLE, TRUMP TRADE REPRESENTATIVE LIGHTHIZER SAYS
“Seeing what's been taking place in our country and the school systems and how many young people come out of high school and are just indoctrinated with this anti-America bent,” Harris Jr. told the Washington Examiner, “you know, they're angry at our Founding Fathers. They think capitalism is evil. They think patriotism is evil, that we shouldn't have pride in our country. Just seeing all these things is so disheartening to see.”
Harris Jr. said he wrote the book to help revive discussion within families about the values and traditions on which the United States was founded.
“We cannot leave the nurturing and fostering of our values of faith, family, hard work, and patriotism — why we love this country — to the school systems,” he added. “I’m really excited about the book. I think it’s going to go a long way in helping to shape the minds of our kids in promoting the values that made our country great.”
A Town Worth Defending will be published by Brave Books and is hitting bookshelves in time for the Fourth of July holiday.
