Following Hamas’s Oct. 7 terrorist attacks on Israel, numerous celebrities weighed in on the tragedy, sharing their support for Israel.

Jewish comedian Amy Schumer shared a number of posts expressing sympathy for both Israeli and Palestinian lives and was shocked to receive a pro-Hamas social media mob and personal attacks about her appearance.

"We are all in a lot of pain. What hurts the most is that we all actually love each other. You hate Jews. You don't know why. I still love you," she said on social media.

Frozen actor Josh Gad, whose Ashkenazi Jewish family are Holocaust survivors, was knocked for making arguments in support of Israel.

"People are treating this as if it’s a FOOTBALL match with two teams when the points scored are dead human bodies. Waving flags around as if they are team jerseys. Have we lost our f***ing minds? Somewhere in a basement right now, tied up and terrified are little CHILDREN who have never done anything to hurt a Palestinian. Somewhere on the streets of Gaza are innocent people who are being shelled, because terrorists decided it was best to destroy any opportunity for peace. And the response is to shame people like me for expressing grief and heartache," Gad said in response to the criticism.

“There are no winners here. We are all losers. Most importantly, every Israeli and Palestinian is now on the losing end. I am truly at a loss. I guess I’m the naive one,” he said.
