A to-go order was allegedly placed for the White House at one of President Joe Biden's favorite Washington, D.C., restaurants on Valentine's Day, according to a report.
The order at Le Diplomate, located at Logan Circle, possibly consisted of Biden's favorite cheeseburger and Tuesday's special, the lobster risotto first lady Jill Biden approved of in a different visit last November, sources at the restaurant told the Washingtonian, hinting that the order could be for the Bidens. The restaurant itself has a policy against talking about its diners on the record.

The Bidens are known fans of the restaurant, which was created by restaurateur Stephen Starr in 2013. The couple took Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff to the restaurant in 2021. The couple also went to the restaurant during Joe Biden's time as vice president.
An order for the White House at the restaurant was confirmed by the Hill.
Other presidents, including former President Barack Obama, enjoyed dining out in Washington. Presidential meals have been eaten at the Source and Ray's Hell burgers, which closed its Washington location in 2019.

The Bidens also recently enjoyed a trip to Fiola Mare with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, as well as a private dinner at Imperfecto, where the family enjoyed a prix fixe lineup of lamb moussaka “cigars,” tuna tartare with shishito puree and trout caviar, and a slow-roasted suckling pig, according to the Washingtonian.
