Hispanic Democrats in Connecticut want to ban the use of “Latinx” on official government documents. And so the legacy media and their “expert” professors have decided to woke-splain Spanish to them and any readers who continue to humor them as credible sources of information.

State Rep. Geraldo Reyes Jr. is one of five Hispanic Democrats to sign on to a bill that would ban using “Latinx” on government documents, with Reyes saying that “I’m of Puerto Rican descent, and I find it offensive.” The word is an activist creation that has been pushed by the media and left-wing professors and is rejected by 98% of Latinos.

But the Associated Press won’t give up the word without a fight. It’s simply "a gender-neutral alternative to ‘Latino’ and ‘Latina’ and is helpful in supporting people who do not identify as either male or female." Spanish is a gendered language, and that puts it in direct violation of the woke tenets of feminism and transgenderism.

So whom did AP find to defend this concept? Its first expert was Maia Gil’Adi, who is “an assistant professor of Latinx and Multiethnic Literature at Boston University.” She says the word "Latino" is “incredibly exclusive” and that "Latinx," as a term, “challenges those conceptions” about women and “non-gender-conforming people.”

The second expert was another professor, David Pharies of the University of Florida, who said there is another movement to change the entire Spanish language by replacing the “o” or “a” at the end of gendered words with an “e.” “‘Latinx’ was clearly a solution that was proposed outside the Spanish-speaking world,” Pharies said.

So, it appears those are the two options for the world’s 500 million Spanish speakers. According to AP and Gil’Adi, Spanish itself is anti-woman and deeply offensive to people who pretend they don’t have a gender. Change every gendered word with either an “x” or with an “e,” but the entire language of Spanish must change in order to be “inclusive.”

All of this so that the world can more closely align with absurd progressive concepts such as people being “non-gender-conforming.”

There is no limit to the woke decay that progressives in the media or university faculty lounges want to impose on every area of life, including the rules of languages people have used to communicate for thousands of years.
