Twitter’s Community Notes is the best thing to happen on the social media platform since its inception, and maybe it’s catching on.

Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tells a lot of whoppers every day, but yesterday one was too big for even the White House transcript person to ignore. This is a heck of a correction:

That claim was so far off base that even the Biden White House couldn’t let it slide.

It might even take more than one person.

The media does that all the time: Put out a BS story that goes viral and then do a walk-back (if at all) that gets a fraction of the attention.
