


We’ve found that Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk can be hit-or-miss with his tweets, but this one seems to check out. We’ve been told that Target is desperate to avoid a Bud Light situation, but the CEO has also expressed his support for Target’s line of Pride gear, including the kids’ swimsuits for any “gender expression.”
Kirk says he has an email sent out from Target leadership to employees, and it reads exactly like what a woke corporation would write.
So Target’s making adjustments to alleviate threats to employees’ “physical and psychological safety.” We guess the “incredible agility” was in quickly moving some of those Pride displays to less-visible areas of the store.
And that’s the narrative the mainstream media will run with — not that masses of people are choosing not to shop at Target, but that Target employees’ safety is under attack with abusive and threatening phone calls.
We did see a pretty hilarious video of Alex Stein trying on one of those “tuck-friendly” women’s swimsuits.
Yeah, those problematic “Women’s” and “Men’s” signs just reminded us of this from 2015:
What’s taking them so long? Don’t they care about inclusivity?
And that tweet reminds us of the time California tried to pass a law requiring toys to be displayed in gender-free aisles; you’d literally be legally compelled to put the Barbie dolls with the Hot Wheels.
Target’s actually gotten off easy for a long time. The “tuck-friendly” tags were the final crack in the dam.
