Every October 26th we should all take a moment to remember the auspicious birth that took place on this fateful date. No, not the birth of German composer Hans Buchner in 1483 or Austrian philosopher Karl Leonhard Reinhold in 1757, a much more recent and notable day of birth. 

October 26th marks the 7th birthday of one of the greatest all-time faceplants in Twitter history.

Students of history will note that that is not the picture of a future President. That's the picture of someone who famously lost the presidency, in fact, and is a wonderful reminder to always avoid counting your chickens before they hatch. But for us it's also great fun to pull the tweet out of mothballs, dust it off and dunk on it once more.

How in the world is this tweet still up? She... she doesn't think there's still a chance it's gonna happen, does she?!
