Today the House Oversight Committee was holding a hearing on charges of contempt of Congress against President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, for his refusal to testify before a closed door congressional hearing last month. Apparently sensing a chance to make a big splash (because if there's one thing that the embattled son of the President needs it's MORE publicity of his bizarre antics) Hunter made the decision to show up himself, walking into the proceedings as they were under way.
Real power move. Of course if you're going to show up to a Congressional hearing that's focused entirely on you and your previous actions, one would think that you'd come expecting to be asked some questions about those actions from all of the congresspeople who had questions, right? Otherwise you'd just look weak and kind of crazy and... oh, hey, where's Hunter going?!
Yup. As you can see, as soon as Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Green is recognized and begins her questioning, Hunter gets up and angrily storms out of the proceedings. What did you think was going to happen, man?
We'd ask if Mr. Biden was high at the time that he came up with this plan but we're assured that he's been clean for some time by the White House so that couldn't be it!
That at least makes some sense given Hunter's... history. Maybe he should have checked over in the White House instead, baggies of cocaine seem to have a habit of appearing there from time to time.
Yet another logical reason! But everyone knows you should ask for a hall pass before heading off to the latrine, right?
Again, we've been repeatedly assured that Hunter is clean of his drug habits so there must be another reason for his behavior, right?
Who knows what Hunter thought he was going to accomplish here, but whatever it was this couldn't possibly be what he had in mind. What a terrible photo op... but the lapdogs in the mainstream media will we're sure find a way to spin this as him winning the day somehow. Finding ways to make it seem as though the Biden White House and those in its orbit are competent seems to be their main occupation these days, after all.
